Our New Addition

Here are a few pics from before construction started. We have been in this house for 13 years and we have been thinking about this addition for the last several years! I can't believe it is finally happening!

This was taken before the carport came down.

This was weird! The worst part is that we had to start scraping the frost off of the windshields. We haven't had to do that since we moved in 13 years ago.

Ahhh... progress.

The first level went up fast! This is what it looked like when we left on Friday night and the next picture is what it looked like when we got home on Saturday!

This is what it looks like as of today Jan 9th, 2011. I will be posting more images on Facebook and I will for sure still be updating this blog. This is the reason we have been so busy lately. We are so excited to have this new addition to our home. The room upstairs will be our new family room / game room.... aka ~ party central!!

6 Months In Review!

I sure am rusty on this... I accidentally got the photos mixed up and forgot how to move the birthday photo to the bottom. oh well!
Can you believe how fast a year can fly??? Corbin is now 4 years old, and we have a teenager! (that feels weird to still say even though Bailey is almost 14!)
This is sort of a review of the last 6 months in photos. I didn't want to overwhelm you too much.

This is the first day of school for Kaysen. He is now 10 years old and funny as always.

Bailey's first day of 8th grade. (still weird to say.) She is so grown up and she is a big help to us. Yancey has even got her to earn a lot of money cleaning cars with him this summer. She earned enough to buy her an ipod Touch among other things but we can't seem to keep her nose out of this fun toy.

Speaking of fun toys... the boys thought they we something pretty cool as they stood next to the Bat Mobile!

Aren't they too cute? They are a lot of fun to watch hang out together. (most of the time)

Mr. Prince Charming!!

Here is Bailey doing her most favorite thing. Hanging out with a horse of course!

All I have to say is "Like Father, Like Son"!! This boy is defiantly going to take over the family's detailing business when his dad retires!!

Truly in BOY heaven! Nothing better than sitting on top of the world! Ok... so it is just a dirt pile but boys love this stuff!

This too! They didn't care that the temperature had dropped to almost freezing that day... nothing would have stopped them from going to play in the freshly dug hole in the future garage construction site.

Ahhh... who could resist the temptation of peeking on Christmas morning???

Can you say spoiled??? I think Santa got confused and stopped at our house twice!!

This was our 6 month review and I sure hope I will be better at updating my blog.

I would have put this on with my New Year's resolutions but for the last 5 years, my New Year's resolution was not to make one. That way I won't be disappointed with myself for breaking it 3 weeks in to the new year!! It seems to be working like a charm!
