Poor Corbin

Poor Corbin!!!
This happened to him at the sitters about 5 minutes before I picked him up. She met me in the driveway to explain what happened and to point out that the drips of blood did indeed belong to my son. He was playing with a bouncy ball in her driveway when he triped and landed on the ball, rolled over the top and skidded down the cement on his nose. He hit hard enough that it gave him a bloody nose and the other sitter was in the house trying to stop the bleeding. I felt as sorry for them as I did for him. It was his last day for them to tend him and I joked with them that they could finally beat him the way that they have wanted to for so long! (Don't worry... he is still sticking with the story that the ball did it!!)
The above photo was taken a few minutes after I got him home. (if you are squimish then don't look too close)

This is a picture of him the very next day. It had turned brown so we called him the "brown noser" for a few days.

This was taken on the third day. Like a good mom I tried to keep some Neosporen on it. I hope he doesnt have a scar forever!!

Around the 5th day the scabb started to fall off. As you can see that the top part of it is laying forward. (again... don't look if this makes you ill.)

This is him after about 9 days. He is doing much better.
Please cross your fingers that we don't have to call him Rudolph forever!!

Oh! Poor boy! I'm glad it's getting better, though.

Oh my gosh how sad! Poor thing.... you are good to document with the pics. Are you done working or why is he done at the sitter? I will email you about the card party!

He does look a little like the scarecrow from wizard of Oz - such a great idea for your kids (a theme) for Halloween. You just need a little dog, too...
